Lamar Robison
Lamar Davis Robison, 70, of Royse City passed away Jan. 12, 2010.
He was born July 24, 1939, in Birmingham, Ala., to Chesley Ewert and Mazie Majel (Mangun) Robison. Lamar proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of New Life Family Fellowship. Lamar served as a professional video engineer and consultant throughout the South for the past 30 years. In addition to positions at Alabama Public Television, Mississippi Educational Television, Ampex Corporation, Belo Broadcasting and others, he was instrumental in constructing several religious television stations in North Texas. Lamar served as chief engineer for several Dallas-based electronics firms, later starting L&V; Computers which specialized in editing systems. He was well known and respected throughout the video production industry in North Texas and around the world.
Lamar is survived by his wife, Virginia (Pemberton) Robison of Royse City; daughters Loretta Bartlett of Klamath River, Calif., Celeste Hutka of Rockwall and Nanette Mulkey and husband Greg of Caddo Mills; siblings Rosanne Burgess of Richmond, Chesley Robison and wife Dale of Arlington, Va., Kathleen Youngblood of San Antonio and Grace Kilpatrick and husband Steve of Dallas; grandchildren Christopher, Rebekah, Broc, Natalie, Meagan, Pierce, Brady, Jenna, Bryce, Maggie and Jayton; and great-grandchildren Demitri, Juliana and Ryleigh.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by a granddaughter, Natalie in 1995.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 15, at New Life Family Fellowship, 3101 Hwy. 66, Caddo Mills, with Pastor Butch Bruton officiating. Interment followed in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Lames C. Cornelius, 74, of Royse City passed away Oct. 6, 2011. He was born July 3, 1937, in Royse City to Raymond and Ann L. (Baley) Cornelius. James was a proud member of the National Guard and served with the Tri County Honor Guard of Royse City.

Warren L. Frye, 41, of Royse City passed away Sept. 8, 2011.
He was born July 28, 1970, in Bedford, Va., to Ronnie and Avis Carl (Crouch) Frye. Warren worked in equipment sales. He was a former board member and coach of the Royse City Youth Association and Royse City Youth Baseball. Warren also served on the Royse City Parks & Recreation board and enjoyed coaching football. He attended First Baptist Church of Royse City. -
