ROYSE CITY —
Tami Kennedy, 52, of Royse City passed away June 6, 2010.
She was born January 9, 1958, in Dallas. Tami was employed for 14 years with The Promotion Network in accounts payable. In her 14 years at TPN her coworkers became a very important extension of her family, which was made obvious by their outpouring of love and support in her last days.
She is survived by her husband, Bernard Kennedy; daughters Amanda Kennedy and Jennifer Kennedy and fiancé Cedric Davis, all of Royse City; a son, Chris Kennedy of Mesquite; her mother, Nelda Alphin of Royse City; her father, Joe Alphin of Corpus Christi; siblings Michael Alphin and wife Linda and Pam Alphin, all of Royse City, and Pastor Pat Alphin and wife Renee of Lindale; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and all her children’s friends, for whom she was “den mother.”
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., June 10, at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Chapel with Pastor Pat Alphin and Bro. Freeman Pierce officiating.

Lames C. Cornelius, 74, of Royse City passed away Oct. 6, 2011. He was born July 3, 1937, in Royse City to Raymond and Ann L. (Baley) Cornelius. James was a proud member of the National Guard and served with the Tri County Honor Guard of Royse City.

Warren L. Frye, 41, of Royse City passed away Sept. 8, 2011.
He was born July 28, 1970, in Bedford, Va., to Ronnie and Avis Carl (Crouch) Frye. Warren worked in equipment sales. He was a former board member and coach of the Royse City Youth Association and Royse City Youth Baseball. Warren also served on the Royse City Parks & Recreation board and enjoyed coaching football. He attended First Baptist Church of Royse City. -
