Royse City VFD to receive $67,865 Grant

ROYSE CITY — WASHINGTON— Royse City VFD will receive a grant of $67,865 to support firefighters and their work as first responders, U.S. Sen. John Cornyn announced last week. The funding can be used for training and support operations, and to purchase firefighter safety and rescue equipment. It comes through the Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency in cooperation with the U.S. Fire Administration.
