Lakeland founder Norma Morris presents her “Brain-based learning model” to attendees at the school’s “Denim and Diamonds” fundraiser at Rockwall’s Hilton Bella Harbor last Thursday night. (May 23) Royse City Ramblin’ Rod Run

Muscle cars, street rods, open cars, t-buckets and roadsters, convertibles, and decades’ worth of cars are expected at the Royse City Ramblin’ Rod Run May 23. It is a Royse City Main Street fund-raiser. It will be at Walker Hawk Ball Fields located just off of Erby Cambell Blvd. south of State Highway 66. For information, contact Kari Hollifield, Main Street Director, 972-636-2184. Arts and crafts vendors are welcome also.
